Exciting new alignments within the dynamic Betsson Team

We are sorry to hear that Pierre de Boer will be leaving  Betsson Group.  Pierre has been with Betsson for 5 years and has decided it is time for new challenges. He will be leaving us on on August the 16th. Screen shot 2013-08-20 at 19.24.50 On back of this I am happy to announce Stefan Nordin as new CTO for Betsson Group. Stefan has been a loyal Betssonite for 8 years and has an outstanding understanding of all our technology.  He will now take on the challenge of bringing our technological performance and capabilities to the next level, aligning them with the ever changing requirements from our customers. In his new role Stefan will re-locate to Malta, and be a part of the Operational Management Team (OMM).  Stefan will report directly to me and he starts in his new role immediately.

As a consequence of these changes Stefan have appointed Åsa Bredin as development center manager (DCM) for Stockholm. In this role Åsa will be responsible for the Stockholm office. This aligns well with the structure of our other development centers, which all have local DCMs.

I like to take this opportunity to thank Pierre for all his contribution to Betsson and wish him the best of luck

On a different note I would also like to announce Jesper Svensson as new Managing Director for Betsson.com. Jesper will replace  Ulrik Bengtsson who has had the role the last few months.  Jesper comes from a role as Global head of Casino and head of customer marketing at Bodog in Manila where he was responsible for the Casino business across multiple regions covering; acquisition, conversion, retention, and reactivation. Previously Jesper has been both at Cryptologic and Ladbrokes where he mainly worked with Sportsbook CRM and retention strategies. In his role as MD for Betsson.com Jesper will report directly to the CEO and will be part of OMM.  Jesper will bring significant commercial gaming experience to our group and to OMM.He starts on August 26th. Best of luck to all!
