Betsson Group CEO, Ulrik Bengtsson welcomed the Prime Minister of Malta, Dr. Joseph Muscat at the Betsson Experience Centre on the 29th of February.
Dr. Muscat and Ulrik Bengtsson discussed the iGaming industry and its future in Malta. With 23 brands operating in over 15 markets, the Betsson Group aims to attract world class digital talent, which remains challenging to find locally.
Ulrik stressed the importance of talent supply for the Group a number of times, adding that Malta needs to create an environment that attracts highly skilled individuals in the digital field; a step that would hugely benefit the island as a whole.
Joining Dr. Joseph Muscat during his visit, Executive Chairman of the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) Joseph Cuschieri, and the Prime Minister’s entourage were given a tour of the Sportsbook, Risk and Fraud and Customer Support departments before retreating to the boardroom for a private meeting.
During the operational tour Ulrik Bengtsson explained that Betsson Group’s focus remains customer-centric, aiming to provide the absolute best customer experience in the industry. “We have won a number of awards for excellence in customer support over the years, and we are determined to keep surpassing all expectations”.
Dr. Muscat said that it was a pleasure to visit the Betsson Experience Centre and is very supportive of the industry and its future requirements.
