A galaxy of star names will battle it out to become the first winners of the much-coveted Star Sixes trophy that will reunite the world’s greatest players in their national team colours to renew old rivalries.
England, Brazil, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Scotland will be among the 12 nations in action during four days of intense competition, which will be screened live by Sky Sports from The O2, London, between 13-16 July.
Betsafe has become the Principal Partner and has been given branding rights across the venue for the international six-a-side spectacle, while Star Casinò is the official partner of the Italian and Spanish teams.

Stellar names like Steven Gerrard, Roberto Carlos, Michael Ballack, Carles Puyol, Robert Pires, Deco and Jay-Jay Okocha will pull on their national jerseys again – and Betsafe will provide fans with the chance to meet many of the stars on show.

Among the superstar Italian champions joining the Italian team, will also include Alessandro del Piero, the team captain of Juventus from 2001 to 2012 and scoring primacy holder during his career who will return to be the leader at Star Sixes; Christian Abbiati, former goalkeeper of A.C. Milan, where he won 3 Italian championship, and Simone Perrotta, former midfielder of A.S. Roma, where he won two consecutive Italian Cup and the Italian Supercup in 2007.
