Marion Gamel is CEO of Betsson Services and CMO of Betsson Group, global leader in online gaming, gambling and betting.
In 2015, Marion created the consultancy MktgFuel, advising tech startups and digital companies experiencing fast growth and coaching young C-level executives.
In 2012-2015, Marion was VP of Marketing EMEA for the fast-growing ticketing and event marketplace, Eventbrite. She built the European team and doubled Europe’s contribution to the company’s growing global revenue.
In 2003-2010, Marion worked at Google, first as a founding member of the European Marketing team, reporting directly to Lorraine Twohill, now the CMO fo Google. In 2003-2005 Marion was Marketing Manager of the UK & Ireland. In 2006, Marion became Head of marketing for India, Pakistan, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka and kick started Google’s operations in the region. In 2007-2010, Marion was the Head of Marketing of Middle East & Africa and in 2010, Emerging markets of Eastern Europe.

She has a proven track record in marketing strategy, market research, strategic planning, customer acquisition and retention, budget management, partnership creation, team building, product launches, ROI analysis, customer advocacy, internal communications and PR, agencies selection and management.
Marion has a data-driven and customer-focused approach that translates into strong ROI and scalable projects. During her career, she has demonstrated the ability to adapt marketing excellence to a wide variety of industries, products and markets.
Thanks to her entrepreneurial approach and creativity, several of the marketing strategies and programs she created have pushed boundaries, won awards and went on to become global benchmarks. In 2005, Marion won the Google Award for the creation of the “Doodle 4 Google” campaign, used in 20 countries.
